Description
EROSION STELE
Alexandre Labruyère’s interest in the movement of pebbles along the Channel coast and the inconstancy of their shape as they travel has led him to retranscribe their movement with his stèleErosion from the eponymous series. With this piece, he works with ash to reveal its soul, tensioning the lines to translate the effects of time on the wood. The designer reveals the singular character of the material by working it according to its grain, producing a sculptural object anchored to the ground like a cliff.
The Erosion stele in smoked ash is exclusive to the Anne Jacquemin Sablon gallery.
